Vay Su, aka Rye Su, with over 15 plus years of experience as a bartender, currently the lead bartender at Republique in Los Angeles, Rye has worked and learned from some of the best in the industry. His style is unique, drawing from classic foundations, adding modern techniques, and inspired by Asian flavors to create beautifully balanced cocktails. He's been invited to travel all around the country to compete in cocktail competitions, recently winner of the 2020 Heaven Hill's Bartender of the Year Competition.

Bear & Stone's team includes a pool of bartenders that are currently working or running some of the best cocktail bars in the city. Not only are they working bartenders, but they also are bartenders that consistently pushing to be better at their craft to creating bar programs that are known to be some of the best in the nation. There's probably a good chance you've sat at one of their bars before, it's nice to have talented friends and that is why we are lucky enough to provide a dream bar team to our guests for the best possible cocktail experience.
